Description
The ThinkStation BMC PCIE adapter - P8/P7/P5 is a specialized service processor that monitors the physical state of a computer, network server, or other hardware device using sensors and communicating with the system administrator through an independent connection. WIth this BMC card a system administrator is able to perform many different monitoring and management tasks remotely without having to be physically located next to and connected to the system.
